CLODAGH HUGHES

Clodagh Hughes is one of Ireland’s leading specialists in top team and senior leadership performance. Clodagh has run her own organisational development consultancy Motive8 since 2003 and numbers many of Ireland’s largest companies among her clients. She started her career in financial services, where she held the role of Head of Marketing at Bank of Ireland Treasury before she moved to stockbroking firm Davy as its Head of Marketing. 

 

Clodagh’s career highlights include:

 

  • Launching a voluntary female leadership initiative  and pioneering the development of a ground-breaking female leadership programme

  • Galvanising senior female executives to act as voluntary mentors for the and various other endeavours

  • Supporting Woman for Election by hosting events and speaking at other events

  • Serving on the board of Social Entrepreneurs Ireland and of SOAR, which creates and delivers delivering early intervention, character development programmes for young people

CAROL BOLGER

Carol is a Chartered Director, a Certified Bank Director and an assessor of boards with the Institute of Directors in Ireland.   She is currently a Non-Executive Director of An Post, Link Asset Services, the Health & Safety Authority and the Coombe Women & Infants University Hospital.

 

A career banker, Carol held a series of senior roles in the banking sector including Head of Business Management and Chief Operating Officer.  She now combines her board and governance roles with supporting senior executives, many of them females, as well as entrepreneurs to achieve their ambitions.

 

Some of Carol’s career highlights include:

 

  • First female Vice President to be appointed by the Institute of Banking

  • Member of the Audit Committee of the Department of Justice & Equality

  • Awarded Student of the Year in IMI / UCC Strategy and Innovation programme

  • An accredited Executive Coach and Mentor specialising in leadership development

AILEEN O’TOOLE

Aileen is a Digital Strategist and a Chartered Director who sits on the Governing Body of Technological University Dublin, Ireland's largest university.  Her previous board roles include the Road Safety Authority, Business in the Community and ASH Ireland.  She is a co-founder of The Sunday Business Post newspaper and was a member of the team responsible for building one of Ireland’s leading media brands.  

Some of Aileen’s career highlights include:

 

  • Being appointed Ireland's first Business Editor while still in her 20s

  • Establishing a national newspaper in her early 30s

  • Being a Director and shareholder in a publishing company (The Sunday Business Post) and involved in its sale to a PLC

  • Founding one of Ireland's first digital strategy companies

  • Receiving a fellowship by the Marketing Institute of Ireland, the highest level of membership, in recognition of her contribution to the marketing profession.
