Female leadership programme shortlisted for diversity award

WomanUp is delighted that Bank of Ireland’s female leadership programme has been shortlisted for the Diversity Initiative of the Year at this year’s Women in Finance awards. WomanUp designed and delivered the programme which targets junior and middle managers and aims to provide them with the tools, skills and insights needed to progress to leadership roles.

Accredited coaches within the bank, guided by WomanUp, support participants to apply what they have learned. This is the first time that bank has invested in a programme of this kind targeting a female cohort. The programme is being delivered against the backdrop of Bank of Ireland's strategic target of 50;50 gender parity in appointments by 2020.
